In Dark Secrets By Elizabeth
Chandler is the book for our groups and this is about the setting and how it
effects the story. Or how it does not. I believe that it does not impact the
story greatly
I believe that the setting at Aunt
Jule’s house is a good setting for the most of the story because that’s where
the story began. If aunt Jules’s was in a different state, or country, it would
not be a big deal because the story doesn’t have anything to do with the
weather or state. What it does have to have is a pond, river, or lake because
that is where the mother died and a lot of the mysterious things that happen at
Aunt Jule’s house involve the lake. So in conclusion, this could be in a
different state or town but the setting must involve a lake/pond/lake.
I like how you said why you thought the setting was good, but your first sentence needs to be re-worded.
